Birth & Postpartum Doula in Longview, Washington

Offering physiological birth support for women in

Cowlitz County and surrounding areas

Birth is not just the delivery of a baby.

It is a physical, emotional, and nervous system transformation that reshapes a woman from the inside out.

As a doula serving Longview, WA and surrounding Clark and Cowlitz County communities, I support women who want to prepare for birth in a way that honors their body’s intelligence — not overrides it.

Whether you are planning a hospital birth at PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center, Legacy Salmon Creek, or a home birth, my role is to help you feel informed, steady, and deeply supported.

What Does a Doula Do?

Care for the entire family

A doula provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum period.

My approach to doula care in Longview is rooted in:

• Nervous system regulation
• Physiological birth education
• Movement and positioning support
• Partner preparation
• Advocacy through informed decision-making
• Postpartum integration

I work with women who want to understand what is happening in their body — and how to work with it, not against it.

“When a woman understands her body, she births with more confidence, ease, and instinct.”
Danielle Wojcicki

There are many doulas. My work is specific.

I focus on helping women prepare for birth through:

Nervous System Preparation

Labor unfolds most smoothly when the body feels safe. We prepare your stress response, breath patterns, and internal orientation so your body can open rather than self-abandon.

Understanding Physiological Birth

We explore how labor naturally progresses, what common interventions mean, and how to navigate hospital environments while staying connected to your body.

Partner Integration

Your partner learns practical ways to support you physically and emotionally during labor, so birth becomes a shared experience rather than something happening to you.

Postpartum Integration

Birth leaves an imprint. I offer early postpartum support to help you process, regulate, and transition into motherhood with steadiness.

Is Doula Support Right For You?

You may benefit from a doula if...

You want continuous support during labor
You feel anxious about birth and want preparation
You want help understanding your options
You want to feel grounded and steady in the process

Your desire a space holder that supports your innate body wisdom & feminine intuition

Birth cannot be controlled — but it can be prepared for.

Still unsure if doula support or physiological birth is right for you?

Not every woman needs in-person birth support.
Some simply want clear, grounded guidance they can move through at their own pace.

And some are still discerning — unsure whether physiological birth is right for them, unsure what kind of support they’ll want, unsure of the power in birth as spiritual transformation.

If hiring a doula isn’t the right fit for you right now, you can still prepare deeply for birth.

Reclaiming the Feminine Way of Birth is my complete birth preparation companion — held by a decade’s worth of birth and body wisdom for the pregnant woman.

Inside, I cover physiology, nervous system regulation, labor progression, and journal prompts to guide you through the birth continuum. This is the companion that includes the physical and spiritual nature of birth.

This guide offers the architecture behind everything I teach in person — so whether you are planning a hospital birth, exploring natural birth, or simply wanting to understand your body more fully, you have a steady foundation beneath you.

You do not have to commit to a certain type of birth to prepare well.

"I could write for hours about how helpful Danielle was. I wasn't sure if I needed a doula, but it was the best decision I could have made. The last few weeks of my pregnancy and through my birth, I knew that I would be taken care of, heard, and supported. Additionally, Danielle answered questions, gave us some handouts, did some educational prep, and made the cutest "menu" to help me decide which comfort actions I could receive during labor."

a mother's return to the original design of creation
