Rooted: A Practice for Every Woman

Root comes from the Latin word, Radix, which means starting point. If you want anything to grow you need to build a solid root network before you can watch it flower.

A rooted journey is a journey into nourishment. This is the path to mothering without dipping into depletion. This is the path of supreme Feminine embodiment and alignment. It begins with nourishing the nervous system, moving old stuck energy out, and inviting in magnetic energy of creation to birth children, projects, relationships, etc.

Plant Roots

Let the plants be the metaphor for your journey. Sit with the process of rooting to flower. We understand that almost all growth is held below in the Earth, a period of rest and darkness. When the plant is ready to grow into the light, the roots descend into the soil and draw in nourishment for optimum growth. If the soil is void of nutrients, her growth will slow or be stunted. Just as a plant takes root to flourish, so do we. We receive nourishment directly from the Earth, just like plants. Food, light, and magnetic frequencies from the Earth fuel our bodies with electrons (energy.)

A Rooted Journey

Becoming rooted is a foundational first step in your growth. When you are rooted, you deeply establish who you are. You develop a nuanced understanding of the various layers of self. Your nervous system is now in a place of flow, no longer stuck reeling in a cycle of shutdown/freeze, stop/go, or fight/flight. Inhabiting yourself gives you a greater capacity, a growth in your ability to hold whatever comes your way in life. The more energy you can hold, the more you can stand in the chaos of the world, an unshakeable force of light.

The path I am sharing to becoming Rooted is through a weaving of physical and energetic alignment, centered around the womb as our guide. She is our creation/birthing center and the container of our power and knowing.

A Woman who is Rooted, is a Woman who is nourished

This path will give you tools to ground your energy to nourish your nervous system. The nervous system needs an energetic body steady enough to hold more energy. Imagine trying to fill a cup with holes with more water, the container can't hold what it has, and adding more won't stop the leak. You can't build more energy if you are leaking in your physical or energetic alignment. We will address both.

The next phase is building energy now that you are more nourished to hold it. You will learn the power of the womb through the cervical lock, known as mula bandha in the yogic tradition. It is also the optimal way to engage or 'kegel,' but so much more! You spend the second half of the month practicing energetic and physical alignment to support the womb and build your energetic body and magnetism.

This is a somatic and embodied experiential journey structured by principles of Feminine alignment.

Who is Rooted for?

  • Anyone who is beginning their alignment journey in the physical or energetic realm.

  • Postpartum mothers who are feeling depleted, low energy, overwhelmed, or struggling with physical symptoms of diastasis recti, heaviness, incontinence, pain, prolapse symptoms, or a generalized sense of not feeling 'right' after giving birth.

  • Women in their conception journey-- birthing of a baby or creative endeavor.

  • If you desire a deeper connection to the womb and wish to support your physical and energetic alignment in an embodied and co-creative way.
